Indiana Heritage Program: |
|
|
The goal of Indiana Heritage is to open a window to the past for the present by bringing history to life for students. Through Indiana Heritage, students are actively engaged in learning about significant people, places, and events in Indiana’s past. The cost per student is $4. All the activities are correlated with Indiana Academic Standards for Social Studies. The overall evaluation for this program has been quite high. As one participant stated, “I thought the program was awesome. The volunteers loved what they were doing and really got into it! Thank you for all your hard work!!” Unlike some festivals, Indiana Heritage’s sole focus is on the education of youth using youth-based activities. Look for IHP again on May 1-2, 2007. We will provide more information about that program as soon as it becomes available. See you then. |
