Social Work Program: Field Instruction

MU Social Work students and faculty at the Indiana Statehouse |
Field Instruction is a senior-level, 10 credit-hour requirement of the social work major. Each student completes a minimum of 420 hours in a social service setting, under the supervision of a professional in the field.
Field Instruction takes place during a combined January Session and Spring Semester of the senior year. Students are in their placements Monday through Thursday each week, and return to campus each Friday for a supportive Field Instruction Seminar with faculty and peers.
Please view the Manchester University Social Work Program Field Instruction Manual for details.
