Manchester University Social Service Club
The Manchester University Social Service Club is a student organization that acts as a mutual support community of students who share an interest in the social services. Membership helps create and enhance the professional identity of prospective social workers and encourages involvement and personal interaction between students and faculty.
SSC members gain practical knowledge of social work through contact with graduates and other professionals They create opportunities to explore graduate programs in the social services. Students develop skills in group dynamics and leadership which enhance preparation for social work practice.
