Brad Nadborne enters his sixth season as
men’s head basketball coach at Manchester.
Nadborne came to Manchester after coaching
stints at the University of Wisconsin–LaCrosse,
DePauw University,
Cornell University,
and the University of
Colorado.
Highlights of Nadborne’s
coaching career include
participation with a
DePauw team that made
it to the NCAA Elite Eight;
being a part of three
teams that traveled to
Europe to play basketball
internationally; and
having coached players
who have gone on to play
in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as well
as various professional leagues in Europe.
Nadborne played college basketball at DePauw
University after playing
his freshman season at
Army under current Duke
University coach Mike
Krzyzewski.
Nadborne was a
commodities trader on
the Chicago Mercantile
Exchange from 1989-
2000. He graduated from
John Marshall Law School
and is partner with Byrne,
Nadborne and Associates
in Chicago. He currently
serves as a faculty
member for Manchester’s
Exercise and Sport
Sciences Department. He
and wife Michele reside
in North Manchester with
their daughter, Mia. |

Name: Eric Dougal
Position: Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

Eric Dougal starts his third year as the assistant basketball coach at Manchester College. Eric came to Manchester after spending one season as an assistant coach at Craig High School, in his hometown of Janesville, Wisconsin. Prior to that, Eric was an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, where he majored in Physical Education, and also played guard on the basketball team.
In the 2002-2003 season, while playing for Coach Nadborne, Eric led the team in three point field goal percentage, shooting 43%. Eric’s enthusiasm for basketball, outstanding people skills, and tremendous knowledge of the game of basketball makes him a great fit for the Manchester College men's basketball program. He serves as an adjunct faculty member within the Exercise and Sports Sciences program and is the Football Gameday Coordinator. |
