Head Coach Josh Dzurick

Position: Head Women's Basketball Coach

Josh Dzurick has completed his second year as head coach and third year overall with the women's basketball program  He has guided Manchester to a pair of NCAA Division III national tournament appearances in 2006 and 2007, and helped the Spartans claim its first conference championship in 20 years. 

Dzurick took over the Spartans basketball program in July of 2005.  Since then he has posted win totals of 21-8 and 21-7, setting school records for most wins in a season.  He guided the Spartans to a record setting 15 game win streak in the 2006-07, failing to lose a game during the months of January and February.  He has been named HCAC Conference Coach of the Year in both 2006 and 2007.

Dzurick is a graduate of Tiffin University, where he received a degree in business and sports management.  He received his Master's of Education degree from Bowling Green in the field of sports management.

  Assistant Coach

Name: Joanna Conner
Position: Assistant Women's Basketball Coach / Strength and Conditioning Coordinator
Alma Mater: Millikin University

Joanna Conner will serve as the new women's basketball assistant coach for the 2007-08 season.  Conner was a four-year letter winner Millikin University (Ill.) before graduating with a degree in secondary education in the spring of 2006.  She served as an assistant athletic director and assistant women's basketball coach for one year before arriving at Manchester. 

As a player, Conner was part of the Millikin team that captured the NCAA Division III championship in 2005.  She was named Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four and was a two-time All-Conference selection for the CCIW.  She served as team captain as a senior and ranks fourth in rebounds and 13th in scoring in a career at Millikin. 

Along with her coaching duties, Conner will serve as a strength and conditioning coordinator for Spartan athletes.
