Kendra Marlowe brings over 11 years experience at the
Division III coaching level to the Spartan volleyball program. She guided MC to its first winning season since 1997 with a 16-15 overall record in 2007.
Marlowe comes to Manchester after spending two years as an aquatics manager
in both Illinois and Florida. Previously, she was the head coach at
Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisc. from 2001-2004, where her Vikes set a school record for wins
in a season.
From 1999 to 2001, she was an assistant softball and volleyball coach at Denison
University, where she helped both teams produce 20+ win
seasons in both of her coaching seasons.
Marlowe served as a graduate assistant with Principia and was the head coach
for the UNO Volleyball Club in Plainfield, Ill.
She is a graduate of Principia, where she earned a B.A. in sports
management and business administration in 1998. She earned her
master's in sports
management from Southern Illinois-Edwardsville in 2001.
Along with her coaching role, Marlowe is an instructor with the Exercise and Sports Science
program and is an assistant director of athletics, serving as the Senior Women's Administrator and the SAAC mentor.

Clark is in her third year with the Manchester College volleyball program.
Clark is a 2006 graduate of Earlham College, where she earned a degree in
classical studies with a minor in math. She was a four-year letter
winner and team captain for the Earlham volleyball program and was named
the George Van Dyke M.V.P. Female Athlete Award winner in 2006. She
was a four-year member of the track and field team, serving as a captain for two years. She was named the team's Most Outstanding Freshman in
2003 and holds records in numerous events. She was named NCAC Field
Events MVP in 2005.
Clark has been active in the club volleyball scene for the past five years in
the Richmond, Ind., community and currently serves as the head coach within
the club volleyball program in Huntington. |
