Application Guidelines for VIA Credit Programs |

Any individual, student group, or campus organization wanting to present or sponsor either a VIA credit program, may apply to the Values, Ideas and Arts (VIA) Committee. This application form also may be used to recommend speakers or other programming for the VIA Committee to consider. Programs qualifying for VIA credit should cover two of the three goals below:
VIA applications for fall semester are due to the VIA Committee no later than the preceding March 1, for spring semester are due the preceding November 1 for other VIA credit programs are due 60 days before the event Applications received after these dates will be accepted, but approval will be governed by existing scheduling and financial commitments. For VIA credit programs, sponsoring groups or individuals are responsible for all arrangements regarding planning and preparations. The administrative secretary for VIA is available to assist. Applications from students or student organizations must be accompanied by a letter of support from a member of the faculty. This faculty member will be expected to provide support and guidance during planning and preparation if the proposal is approved.
