Peace House and Gladdys Muir Peace Garden

The Gladdys Muir Peace Garden was completed in 2001. It was built to acknowledge and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the College's distinguished peace studies program and recognize it as the first of its kind in the nation. The peace garden is a place for quiet reflection and the refurbished small cottage is a "meeting house." Located at the entrance to the College, the garden and meeting house help mark the importance of peace studies to Manchester College.
