MC students will direct March 9-11
production of Cyrano de Bergerac
Fabulous Hero! Famous Nose! Alpha Psi Omega, the dramatics honorary
society at Manchester College, has chosen the love story Cyrano de
Bergerac for its annual production.
Rostand’s play is about a poetic and brave young guardsman who has a
bulbous nose. Certain he could never find a woman to love him, Cyrano
uses his talents to help another man capture the heart of his wealthy
and beautiful cousin, Roxane.

student performers take the Wampler Auditorium stage at 7:30 p.m. March
9-11. Tickets at the door are $1 or a canned good for a local food
pantry. Reservations are not necessary.
Psi Omega always does a student-directed spring play at Manchester,”
Grubb said. “It's up to the students and their peers to make these
shows work and it's always a memorable, successful experience. The
completely student-run element gives the actors and directors a
different experience than the plays directed by professionals.”
