Biographical/Historical Note: Paul Flory was considered one of the most significant scientists of the 20th century and a 1931 graduate of Manchester College.   At commencement on May 29, 1950 the College conferred upon him the honorary Doctor of Science degree.  See his groundbreaking textbook published in 1953, "Principles of Polymer Chemistry."  He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1974 and The American Chemical Society's most prestigious honor, the Priestly Medal, also in 1974.  Thesis, pictures, publication collections, videotape of Paul J. Scope and Content Note: 1. One personal file belonging to Wylan Becker Shulz containing collected information from various sources regarding Flory.
