Biographical/Historical Note: Chalmer Shull and his wife, Susan Shull were Church of the Brethren missionaries in India.  Susan was a teacher at the Woodstock School in India, 5.0 miles from Tibet and Chalmer was a missionary in India.  The couple met through their mutual work in India.  Sister-in-law, Lois Shull, reported that the Shulls spent 40 years on the Indian mission field.  Chalmer attended Manchester Church of the Brethren.  He was the oldest of a family of 10 children.  Chalmer and Susan were followed in their mission work by Chalmer's brother, Ernest, and Ernest's wife, Lois.  Ernest and Lois spent 18 years in India.
