      • Information Input Overload: " It is common knowledge that we are n the midst of a fantastic, spiraling explosion of what is "known" in virtually every field.  It is also known that we are confronted in a way never before possible with what McLuhan calls'instant' experience.  We are submerged from morning to night in sound, news media, talk, T.V., and radio, and oceans of printed material."
