Bio History Note

This collection of historical movies comes from the latter years of Otho Winger's presidency and the early years of Schwalm's. Jeanine believes a clip is from Schwalm's inauguration in the fall of 1941.

Several graduations are documented, one in which Winger hold a lighted candle and lights a candle for each robed student.

Moving pictures of May Days, for at least two years....complete with gymnasts, male tumblers in short-shorts, a funny costumed bull (two people) and bull fighter, dances around the Maypole, the May Day Queen and entourage, and parade.

Camp Mack day showing student and professors arriving/departing by train and playing games and eating at Camp Mack.

Homecoming, including "Blitzkreig on Valpo."

Homecoming parade?

Probably a promotional segment where a veiled young woman visits Manchester College with her mother, father and brother.  Their car pulls up next to the tennis courts and they exit the car and walk slowly to the Administration building.
