Scope and Content

8 April 1980 Convocation.  Jonathan Kozol was a public schooteacher in Boston who spoke out about inadequate conditions for learning that existed in that city.  He was fired from his job because of this. He is the author of Death at an Early Age: The Destruction of the Hearts and Minds of Negro Children in the Boston Public Schools. The book was first published in 1967.  

Reel-to-reel audio tape and accompanying CDs. Two copies of CD Part I. One copy of Part II.

Note - turn volume up.  The quality of this tape is not excellent.
