Dr. Gene Sharp speaks on "Focus on Issues for Social Change," delivered on 2 October 1975. Dr. Sharp has been described as the
world's top theorist of nonviolent strategy.

Dr. Sharp's Great Aunt graduated from Manchester College in the area of Music in 1905.
Cassette tape transferred to CD by Instructional Technologies Department in March 2011.
Dr. Sharp's picture was identified in a box containing Peace Studies photographs* on 2 November 2011 by James Falkiner, Mark E. Johnston Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies. Jeanine Wine identified a student in the image as being Robert Stauffer Curry. This places the picture as being taken during Sharp's 1975 visit.
