1. One photograph with male and female students reading a copy of the "Oak Leaves" with headlines, "Handel's Messiah To Be Given Dec. 14."
2. The negative to this picture was found in the Archives stacks on 11 August 2010 by Jeanine Wine and added to the file folder containing the photograph. The negative was with other negatives identified as being from 1958. This date has not been confirmed.

Bio History Note
The Rural Life Room was created as part of the College's Rural Life Program. Class offerings were meant to encourage an increasing number of students to prepare for careers as farmers, farm homemakers, rural ministers, teachers, and rural doctors and dentists.The "rural life room" was on the first floor of the Administration BUilding and furnished with knotty pine furniture and a mural-like painting of a rural countryside with farm, church, lake and town.
