This article was probably collected by Ferne Baldwin and has a handwritten note, "H Newsletter." The note might mean that the article was published in the newsletter put out by the North Manchester Historical Society. Following the last footnote is the name, "Lester H. Binnie, June 1992," which leads me to believe this is the author.
