Bio History Note
In preparation for attending the Gilbert family reunion in North Manchester in July 2002, Laverne Terry Rudisill researched the Gilbert family history. Her research included a visit to Manchester College's archives. In appreciation for the assistance she received from Jill Lichtsinn, reference librarian, Ms. Rudisill shared her completed research with us.
The Israel and Mary Horning Gilbert family lived near North Manchester, Indiana. Several descendents still live in or near North Manchester.
