Bio History Note
A. Blair Helman was President of Manchester College from 1956 - 1986. This conference was a gathering of members of the Church of the Brethren held to discuss denominational direction within this particular district. The original tape was done under non-professional circumstances. The date is definitely 1957. The district conference was in Northwestern Ohio which in the early 1960's merged with Northeaster Ohio to form the Northern Ohio District.
