Course Auditing - FAQs

May I audit any class I want?
You may audit any class that has been approved by the instructor for auditing and is not already full.

Where do I buy books?
Textbooks can be purchased at the Campus Store in the lower level of Calvin Ulrey Hall. Parking is available to the north of that building.

Do I have to read the assignments?
Only if you want to learn a lot!

Do I have to take the examinations?
No, you're not required to take exams, but taking exams, too, may help to enhance your overall learning experience.

Am I allowed to participate in class discussions?
Of course! We welcome active and equal class participation among all students, whether they're seeking a degree or auditing a class. Discussion and interaction with others can be one of the most stimulating and rewarding factors in the learning process, and we encourage all students to share opinions and to be respectful of the opinions of others.
