The Manchester College
Symphonic Band goes on tour each fall, visiting high schools, retirement
centers and local congregations. The Symphonic Band tour typically includes
several concerts, an educational event and free time to explore a new city.
This is a great way for students to share their musical gifts, learn about
being an ambassador for the College, and to see a new part of the country.
Previous tours have taken the band to Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago, and
Pennsylvania. In 2004, the Symphonic Band toured locally, performing at the Union Center Church of the Brethren in Nappanee, Indiana, Greencroft Retirement Community in Goshen, Indiana, and Agape Church of the Brethren in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Band also enjoyed a tour and lunch at Amish Acres. |
