Hotmail brings bigger mailboxes for students.
The College will transition student e-mail to a
Manchester-branded Hotmail account at noon on Wednesday, March
12. Students will get 100 times more capacity in their mailboxes and
a new address:
username@spartans.manchester.edu. We will disable the
old student e-mail address on May 26.
Here’s the link to FAQs. Before the end of the current
semester, students need to forward their stored e-mail to their new
Hotmail account and notify senders of their new address
What does this mean for us? The Hotmail is just for students.
We get bigger Outlook mailboxes (and some other features) this
summer. We need to change any students in our personal Outlook
distribution lists to their
spartans.manchester.edu address. ITS will take care of
the distribution lists in the global address list.

Thinking about submitting a grant proposal? Step 1 is contact
College Advancement. That helps ensure we are not seeking
conflicting grants from foundations, corporations and agencies that
could harm outcomes. College Advancement approval is routine,
assuming there are no conflicts with other applications.
Grant-seekers need to know:
·
All applications require approval by
both a cabinet member and the president prior to submission
to the funders.
·
All student/student organization
fund-raising must have the approval of the vice president for
College advancement.
·
The grant writer is responsible for
fulfilling reporting requirements.
·
Grant checks must be deposited
promptly with the Business Office.
·
The College is committed to adhering
to the high reporting standards the IRS sets for independent

Kudos You’re
Awesome! Thanks!
Kudos to
“unsung heroes” Elbert
Sammons and
Steve Walpole (physical plant). “They complete the “little”
jobs behind the scenes that make all of our work much more
efficient,” writes Lana Groombridge (exercise/sport sciences).
‘”From gluing on linoleum to hanging equipment hooks to attaching
door handles, Elbert and Steve work on behalf of us all. Thanks so
much!”
Fred Durden helped, too, when a physical plant team
came to the rescue of a suite of ill students recently. Thanks!
