Blogging for Thomas Marshall …We’ve opportunity to pitch in our 2 cents to help the community woo an $8,500 grant from General Mills and Hamburger Helper to complete the final phase of the Thomas Marshall Restoration Project. The North Manchester community already has invested countless hours of volunteer labor, fund-raisers and $57,000 in local dollars toward restoration of the birthplace home of our 27th vice president, now located next to the public library on Market Street. Here’s the link to lend verbal support to the grant proposal.  The website is My Hometown Helper.com.
