Backus-Naur form, B-trees, loops, linkage, UNIX, algorithms …
there’s a whole ’nother language out there, and scores of MC grads
speak it, thanks to the teachings of Chuck Stanton, associate
professor. Chuck will retire next spring, ending 15 years of
balancing the difficult task of teaching both computer science and
mathematics. Widely published on a number of subjects and with
national and international presentations under his belt, Chuck “has
been an excellent teacher,” praises Dean Sharfman.

Wow! Yea!
Kudos You’re
Awesome! Thanks!
“I just wanted to express our sincere thanks to
the organizers of the move in for first-year students. It was
amazing how fast we were able to get everything to my children's
rooms. With two first-year students moving in to the third floor of
two different residence halls, we were very concerned that it would
be difficult – and exhausting – to get it all done. Instead, it was
easy. As soon as we emptied the vehicles, a multitude of coaches,
players and others carried stuff to the rooms. It was very welcoming
and set a tone of acceptance from the start. – Korrine Gust

but goodies from recent MEMOs
Emergency Mass Notification System. In an emergency, if
appropriate, we have the ability to send a text message alert not
only to our campus e-mail addresses, but to our cell phone text
message e-mail account and personal e-mail account (if we have those
services). Report those accounts here, right now, in
MCConnect.
We will ONLY use these accounts for an emergency alert.
