“I write to bring to your attention the actions of someone, which attest to the values and strong community of Manchester College: those of Stan Pittman (education/instructional technology).Late in the day Thursday, I contacted Stan about a need for a DVD video of my teaching, which I needed for a last-minute potential job offer and which had to be in the mail on Friday before 5 p.m. His only response was: “What can I do to help?” He never hesitated once. He just made it happen, and the video turned out beautifully. After recording early Friday afternoon, he worked his magic and I had a DVD in hand in time to make the deadline. He then continued to work (late Friday) to produce a video file that was small enough for me to e-mail.Stan exemplifies the dedication, commitment and service that make Manchester College a place like no other.” – Arline Cravens (French visiting faculty)
