What does philanthropy mean to MC students?

In celebration of Philanthropy Day (March 19), Dr. Mary Lahman’s Advanced Public Relations class developed two videos that help to capture the spirit of giving and promoting human welfare.

Manchester College celebrates philanthropy, particularly that of donors who help make education here possible. Tuition doesn’t cover the full cost of education.

You can celebrate MC’s Philanthropy Day by using your time, talent or treasure to help others in any philanthropic setting that captures your heart. Visit a shut-in. Volunteer your time at a soup kitchen. Give a gift to a worthy cause.
