Steve brings to Manchester University more than 16 years of planned giving experience.  Prior to his years in philanthropy, he practiced law in Indianapolis with a concentration in estate planning.

Steve holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Ball State University and a law degree from the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.

The majority of Steve’s non-profit career has been spent in higher education.  He served as associate vice president of planned giving for the Ball State University Foundation and as assistant dean of development with the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.  He later held positions as director of planned giving for both the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation and the Kiwanis International Foundation.

Steve has three children, Alec, Kiley, and Spencer.  The “king” of their house, however, is their bull terrier, Teddy.
