Manchester College General Endowment Fund

Perhaps the gift that has the most enduring impact is the unrestricted
donation to the Manchester College Endowment Fund. The donor leaves an asset or assets to the College,
but does not designate that it be spent on a specific building or project. Rather,
the College spends the earnings (not the principal) from this contribution on projects it deems are the greatest need. The assets are invested with other endowment monies to keep the investment costs low.
This enables the College to use professional money managers that require large minimums.
Often this kind of gift is a bequest out of an estate or trust.
It is essential to have competent legal and financial planning advice
for this gift option. Be sure to notify Manchester College if this is your intention.
