Holl-Kintner Renovation

Constructed in 1959, and named to honor treasured Professors Carl W. Holl ’16 (chemistry) and Edward Kintner ’12 (biology), Holl-Kintner Hall
– Manchester's former home for the natural sciences – occupies a prominent location on campus. With the opening of the Science Center, the need for Holl-Kintner as a lab facility has ended.
The need for valuable classroom and office space, however, is real.
When complete, the retrofitted facility will be the home of
several academic departments: Accounting, Economics, Education, Religion and Philosophy, Language and Communication
Studies, plus a student media center for WBKE radio.
It will have large and small classrooms, faculty offices, discussion rooms, lounge and study areas, and an elevator. In addition, our increasingly popular conference facilities will become even more attractive for regional and local meetings of wider scope.
Proposed floor plans for renovation (subject to change):
Naming opportunities abound in Holl-Kintner – for classrooms, faculty offices, entire floors, and the conference center.
Contact any of our development officers or make a pledge online to this worthwhile endeavor.
