Jarman, will retire Aug. 1. The impact of Jarman’s 18 years of leadership

Outfielder Sam Tarnowski is First-Team All-American
Four-time All-Conference outfield Sam Tarnowski '07 leads the Spartans in career and season stolen
bases. He batted .427 this season, with 46 RBI, 45 runs scored, seven
doubles, three triples and 10 home runs. He posted a .727 slugging percentage, and stuck 27
out of 30 steals.

I entered A Cappella Choir auditions, warmed up, and Director Debra Lynn
handed me a piece of music. She played a scale in the song’s key, looked up
at me, and told me to sing without accompaniment. No one had ever expected
me to sight read music a cappella in my life. It was September 2006.
