The College Union

The College Union serves as the “family room” for college life, a place where people can easily make connections, sit and read a book or enjoy a cup of coffee.

The $7.5 million renovation and enlargement of the College Union marked the final phase of the The Next Step! Campaign. The revitalized union will house student organization offices, Career Services, The Oaks snack bar, cafeteria and dining areas, Conference Services, an art gallery and the Campus Store. Nearly doubling the 1964 structure, the new fully accessible 51,905-square-foot College Union will accommodate the buzz of student activity as well as provide space for community and conference events.

Scheduled for completion in 2007, the Union project was initiated with a groundbreaking ceremony in April 2006. See photos from the ceremony in our Photo Album.
