Three types of bequests to the College can be included in a will or trust. Below are examples of the type of language your legal advisor may include in your document:

Specific Bequest
I hereby give ______(dollar amount or property) to Manchester College, North Manchester, Indiana, for its general endowment fund (or other program, department, etc.) for the College's exempt purpose.

Percentage Bequest
I hereby give ____ percent of my estate to Manchester College, North Manchester, Indiana, for its general endowment fund (or other program, department, etc.) for the College's exempt purpose.

Residual Bequest
I hereby give the rest (or specific percentage) of my residual estate, after all other specified gifts and payments are satisfied, to Manchester College, North Manchester, Indiana, for its general endowment fund (or other program, department, etc.) for the College's exempt purpose.
