Choose from a full menu of food service options. You’ll have an incredible range of dining choices at Manchester. Typically, groups have most of their meals served buffet-style in our cafeteria. Attendees love choosing from a variety of options at each meal, from entrée choices to salad bars and dessert tables, and everyone can enjoy as much as they like. 

Our catering team works with you one-on-one to coordinate all your group’s meals, from cafeteria menus to truly elegant affairs. We have years of experience developing unique, healthy menu options for group members with special dietary needs, such as vegetarian, vegan, or particular ethnic preferences.

Fully customized. If you want something special, we can help you plan meals almost anywhere on campus. That might mean hors d’oeuvres for a reception outside a recital hall, a banquet in our union building, a pizza party in a residence hall den, or a picnic on the campus grounds. On site full-service catering is available through Conference Services and Chartwells on our North Manchester campus. Our team is fully equipped to handle private meals and receptions of 50 to 500 people. Our conference facilities host some of the most prestigious events in the area and our banquet facilities are utilized for anniversaries, retirement and rehearsal dinners, award banquets, dinner-dances, and outdoor barbeques. 

Professional service. Chartwells understands that ordering catering for a conference or event is about much more than ordering food. What you will receive from our staff of foodservice professionals is one-on-one guidance with customized menu development, theme decorations, and service considerations that will make your event a truly unique and memorable experience. 

In addition to our personal service and award-winning foodservice program, Chartwells offers the following amenities: 

  • Custom-designed menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for small or large events. Larger groups can be accommodated in our spacious cafeteria.
  • We work with you to plan meals and breaks that best meet the needs of your event and group.
  • Buffet-style and all-you-care-to-eat service.
  • Boxed lunches are the ultimate in flexibility. We work with you to include items that best reflect your event and guests’ needs.
  • We accommodate your guests with special dietary needs. With our Terra Ve® program, we maintain an exclusive database of vegetarian and vegan recipes from Vegetarian Times magazine and our own Executive Chefs. Additionally, we work with you to determine if guests have any food allergies or other considerations. 

Our Catering Service team is prepared to help you coordinate all aspects of planning a truly elegant affair or a more casual event. Both buffet and plated menus are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner functions. We help you customize your menu or select from the many choices available on our banquet menus. We will be delighted to work with groups to accommodate your group and event!

On our Fort Wayne campus, we will work with local caterers and coordinate food services and refreshments on site.
