American Chemical Society (ACS) ACS is for students interested in the chemistry or biology-chemistry majors. The yearly agenda consists of monthly socials that may include films, visiting speakers or field trips. Student summer research programs, a get-to-know-you fall picnic and a Christmas party are also features. The ACS year ends with the elections of the next year’s officers and a formal banquet. Dues are $5. Contact ACS advisor, Assistant Professor Susan Klein (x5319), any professor with an office on the third floor of Science Center, or the person from whom you borrowed your chemistry notes.
