Dance Team

The Manchester College Dance Team adds exciting entertainment to pre-game and halftime College basketball games. Routines are student-choreographed to a variety of different types of music. There are no prerequisites for membership. Tryouts take place in August, with practices beginning immediately after selections are made. Practices during the season vary depending on availability of the members, but the dance team usually meets twice a week for two-hour periods in addition to performing at all home men’s basketball games and occasionally women’s games. An end-of-season party celebrates the season. Interested persons should watch for posted meeting times and tryout times or call the Office of Student Activities (x5029).
