Career Mentor Program
The Manchester Mentors Program provides the opportunity for juniors and seniors to prepare professional documents, gain direct experience in the field, build confidence, network with others, inquire about positive and negative aspects of the career and increase professional competencies in a career of their choice with the guidance of a professional mentor.
Interested students are matched with alumni mentors in their careers of interest. Students and mentors meet once a month and attend three luncheons on campus throughout the year (scheduled for October 22, March 2 and May 5). Career Services staff provides ideas for meeting topics, as well as guidelines for the program to ensure a helpful mentoring relationship.
To apply for the program, students must complete the online application no later than September 24, 2010.
Interested mentors are asked to complete an online interest form.
