Internship Basics

Consider the basic requirements:

• Do you want to receive academic credit? If yes, you must

  work with a faculty advisor from your department from the beginning of your internship search.

• Do you want to be paid or can you volunteer? If you need income, consider combining a part-time job with a part-time volunteer internship.

• Are you available to work full or part time? Approximately how many hours a week?
