Danette is a graduate of Manchester College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in social work. While working full time after Manchester College she earned two master's degrees: a Master of Science at Indiana Wesleyan and a Master of Social Work at Indiana University, Indianapolis. She is also licensed as a clinical social worker. Danette has worked previously with victims of crime allowing her knowledge and experience with domestic violence, sexual abuse, child abuse (physical, emotional and sexual) and grief and loss. She has worked in foster care, developing a special needs and foster care adoption program in northern Indiana. This has provided her insight into the transitional needs of adults and children, and the challenges of growing a small business. Immediately prior to returning to her alma mater, she worked for five years at an inpatient behavioral health unit providing individual, group and family therapy to young persons and their families. Returning to Manchester College to talk with students and share in their college experiences is a great joy.

Assistant Director of Career Services and Counseling Services, Andy Bosk

Since graduating from Manchester College in 2001, Andy Bosk has worked primarily in the education and social work fields. After completing his master’s degree in counseling from IUPUI, he relocated from Indianapolis to join MC’s student development team. As assistant director of career services and counseling services, Andy is excited about getting to know Manchester College students and helping them find success in all facets of their growth and development. Andy is specifically interested in assisting first-year students in their transition to college. Andy will also meet with students who receive an MC sanction for an alcohol or drug violation. Andy’s office is located in the Success Center.

Student Development and Counseling Services Intern, Tracy Yoder

Tracy Yoder graduated from Taylor University with a BS in Social Work in 2007. She plans to receive her MA in Counseling from Grace College in May of 2010. Tracy is currently completing an internship at Manchester College and looking forward to knowing and working with the students of the MC community throughout the academic year. Tracy has previously worked with at-risk families and youth/children and has experience working with victims of trauma. She has completed previous internships in an inpatient behavioral health unit conducting both group and individual counseling, as well as a residential treatment facility for adolescent males. Tracy is thoroughly enjoying her time on MC’s campus and hopes to gain insight and wisdom from any and all students who might walk through her door.

Jacquilline Nagila is the Director of Multicultural Services and Campus Diversity. Now in her third year at Manchester College, she draws from her experience, educational and professional background to facilitate the cultural, social and academic adjustment of domestic minority and international students.
