Do I need to make an appointment?

Walk ins are between the hours of 8:30 - 11 a.m to see a registered nurse, who can assess your problem. The nurse accepts appointments between 1-4 p.m and can be made by calling 260-982-5306. Check the homepage of health services to see times the nurse is available for each day of the week. Some treatment for some conditions can be initiated by the nurse. If you need further assessment or treatment by a physician, an appointment can be made with one of the local physicians. If it is after hours, there may be a need to be referred to a local emergency department.

Do you have to call my parents?

Students who are 18 years of age or older are considered adults and have the legal right to medical confidentiality. We do not and will not release any information to anyone about you without your written consent to do so. (Student athletes at Manchester College sign a specific consent to share medical information with the athletic department.)

How much does a medical exam cost?

There is no charge for an evaluation by the nurse. If supplies are used, or special procedures are done, those will be billed to your student account and can be filed by you (or your parents) with your private insurance carrier.

Where is Health Services located?
