Health Insurance Waiver/Enrollment

All students must complete the online Waiver/Enrollment Form by Aug. 1 whether they plan to subscribe to the University's insurance, or whether they plan to waive it.

All Manchester University students are required to be covered by health insurance and are automatically enrolled in the University's student health insurance plan (Bollinger Insurance). You may waive this coverage only if you have pre-existing coverage with another plan. If you do not waive coverage, your tuition account will be charged and you will receive coverage for the year.

If your existing coverage is a managed care plan (HMO), speak with your primary care provider or a service representative regarding benefits for your medical care while away at college. Many managed care plans will not provide care if the patient is out of the service area, or if care is provided by an "out-of-network" provider.
