Insurance

Students are required to be covered by health insurance. Manchester College offers a basic plan for which all students will be billed. If you are covered under another policy and wish to waive out, you may do so by completing the waiver form that will be mailed to you with your tuition bill. If you plan on purchasing the College sponsored insurance, please read thoroughly before making your decision. If you belong to a managed care plan (HMO), please speak with your primary care provider or a service representative regarding benefits for your medical care while away at college. Many managed care plans will not provide care if the patient is out of the service area, or if care is provided by an "out-of-network" provider.
