Manchester College International Association (MCIA)

Formed of students from 30 different countries spanning all five continents of the world, this club adds a vital focal point for the enhancement of cultural diversity at the college.  Through events like the International Food Fest and the International Fair, the members seek to get the message of unity around the campus and to make the community and their fellow students aware of the different races, creeds and religions that coalesce to form the earth.

The purpose of the MCIA is to provide support for all new and continuing students from other countries who are attending Manchester College. The Association provides an opportunity for an exchange of culture and traditions between international students and other persons of the Manchester College community. The association also works with the Office of Admissions in all feasible ways in the recruitment of international students for the College.

All international students are automatically eligible for membership. Persons in the Manchester College community who express a serious interest in intercultural affairs also may join MCIA.

General meetings for student members are held every other week, and potlucks for members of the North Manchester community are held once a month.
