Student Leaders Recognized At Annual Banquet
Manchester’s annual Leadership Banquet was held on Sunday, April 25, with the theme “Leading by Example.” Vice President for Student Development Beth Sweitzer-Riley opened with several quotes about leadership, one of which was attributed to philosopher Lao-tsu:
“To lead people, walk beside them…As for the best leaders, the people do not notice their existence. When the best leader’s work is done the people say, ‘We did it ourselves!’”
