Softball End of Season Wrap-Up

Softball ended the year strong winning a doubleheader against Anderson, bringing the team to 17-20 for the season.


In game one, sophomore Danielle Blevins homered in the first inning and sent sophomore Brittney Miller and first-year Addy King home on a single in the fifth. Junior Kristi Brown recorded seven strikeouts, giving up only four runs to Anderson and securing the game’s score of 6-4.


Sophomore Erica Bush pitched game two, allowing Anderson one run in the fourth. Blevins earned another RBI, this time on a double in the third inning that led sophomore Katie Scott home. Senior Chelsea Kunkel also doubled in the third, sending Blevins home. Miller scored on an error. The final score was 3-1.
