Message from the Director
Manchester University was established as a residential college. We emphasize and value the total educational experience gained from living in the halls. Students spend over five times as much time in the residence halls as they do in the classroom. We believe that their experiences in the residence halls are a very important part of their college career. We encourage all students to get involved in campus life, to balance class work with activities, clubs and organizations. College is like anything else in life; the more you put into it the more you get out of it. Our most successful and satisfied students are those that have engaged in a well rounded college experience. For more information about our residential life program, contact: Allen Machielson Director of Residential Life 260-982-5052
Check out our New Student Information page to answer any FAQs you may have about your residence hall room (size, furniture, etc) or what to bring to college. Our Current Student Information page includes a FAQ for current students, which includes questions most commonly asked about residential life on the Manchester University Campus. If you have any questions to add to our list, please email East Hall Director, Jessica Hickerson.
