On Monday May 23, this agency arrested
Jonathan R. Poppenger M
/ W / 33; DOB 062571; 600; 200; Brn;
Blu.
Subject wears glasses and has a full mustache and goatee
Subject has large tattoos of a woman on his right bicep,
death on his left bicep and a full back tattoo
with
numerous figures & scenes.
Subject was arrested and charged with
disorderly conduct after he had entered the women’s locker room several
times when women were present. A review of the video cameras showed
that he had been in the area of the locker room and Fitness Center
for about an hour watching for women to enter the locker room and he would
then walk in after them. Subject also admitted to entering a women’s
washroom. His excuse was that he was looking for his sister who he
was supposed to meet to enroll in a class or that he thought it was the
men’s locker room. He was bold enough to actually stop and ask one of
our officers if they had seen his sister so as to deflect suspicion.
Though subject claimed to never having
done this before, it appears that he has. On 101603 he was
interviewed but not charged, by Addison P.D. after being found in a women’s
washroom stall at Dave & Buster’s. Subject expressed relief that
he had been caught before anything happened, but did not claim that he had
any sexual assault in mind.
Subject currently resides in Braidwood,
and works in Northlake. He has had prior addresses in Elgin and Carpentersville, but there is indication
that he may frequent Indiana
