Manchester University Campus Safety Cadets wear a modified uniform, which identifies them as members of the Department of Campus Safety, and work with the event sponsors at dances and other events, providing a security presence and maintaining radio contact with the on-duty officer. Cadets also assist with traffic and parking enforcement. 

Student Cadets also receive training in many areas, including CPR, Fire Safety, Self Defense, and Emergency Response.
