Manchester University PGx goes PrimeTime

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – An in-depth interview featuring the Pharmacogenomics Program at Manchester University will air on PrimeTime 39 at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 8.

Program Director David Kisor, Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Diane Calinski and PGx student Jonathan Timmons  spoke with PBS39 President and General Manager Bruce Haines for the half-hour show on the public television station PBS39 (39.1) out of Fort Wayne.

It is scheduled to encore 6:30 p.m. July 9 and 8 p.m. July 10 on the PBS digital channel 4 (PBS39 Explore, 39-4). 

After it airs, the station will also post the show on its website and will send MU a link to share.

Manchester University offers the nation’s only dedicated master’s degree in pharmacogenomics.

The Fort Wayne campus, where the pharmacogenomics program is based, is also home to MU’s four-year Doctor of Pharmacy program. It is at 10627 Diebold Road. The campus was built as the result of a $35 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc.
