Help protect your health and the environment by reducing plastic waste at Manchester University.

Goal: to reduce and hopefully eliminate all plastic bottles on the MU campus

Solution: to educate the University community about the impacts of plastic bottles and to promote the use of reusable water bottles.

This is a campus-wide movement to ban plastic bottles. We hope to encourage and finalize a switch to reusable bottles instead. Many people believe that because it's plastic, it is recyclable. This is not the case. Take a look at our website to find out some shocking truths and statistics about plastic bottles. Between the impacts on the environment and our own health, we think that you'll change your mind. Other colleges, universities, and well-known organizations have already taken the step. It's your turn.
