number of close ballots, and so, finished the tournament with a 1-6-1 record.

"Outstanding Witness" title.

Student and Alumni News Spring 2011
- Mock Trial Tournament -
Manchester’s Mock Trial team competed in 2011 South Bend Regional Tournament,
February 26-27. Despite facing challenges that nearly forced us to withdraw
entirely from the tournament, the team came together and welcomed two new
members—Daniel Allen, who joined less than two weeks prior to competition, and
Margo Hess, who joined the day prior to the tournament.
Our team finished the weekend
with a 2-6 record, losing to some teams that advanced to the next round of
competition. We celebrated with Daniel Allen, who earned an All-Region Witness
award in his first-ever mock trial tournament! The team consisted of Daniel
Allen, Benjamin Crim, Margaret (Margo) Hess, William Kallas, Aja Neumann, and
Kacee Robins. Everyone on the team earned some recognition by the judges for
their performances as attorneys and witnesses in the American Mock Trial
Association tournament.
