Successful Graduates

Manchester has a nearly perfect record of placing computer science graduates, many with national companies such as IBM, Texas Instruments, Kodak, and Bell Laboratories. Computer science at Manchester is part of a general liberal arts education that combines technical training with the ability to reason, enhancing graduates' ability to adapt to new developments in computer science. Manchester computer science majors are also prepared for graduate study, should they decide to pursue a higher degree.

• Karlene Clapp '05 is doing graduate study in computer science at Ball State University.

• Kapri Dix '05 is working as a software developer at Accenture in Indianapolis.

• Chad Heck '04 has a master's in library science and is teaching computer science and robotics at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis.

• Frederick Balagadde '01 is completing a Ph.D. in applied physics (nanotechnology) at Caltech and has published in Science magazine.

• Greg Albertson '97 is managing the IT department for ArvinMeritor, Light Vehicles in Bangalore, India.

• Ivaylo Ilinkin '97 completed a Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Minnesota and is teaching at Rhodes College in Tennessee.
